Midnight Driving

For every moment of your life, I believe there’s a song that can capture the feelings and the memories you hold of that moment...and I don't think there's anything quite like what you feel when you're driving at midnight. Whether you're driving home from a long day or from one of the best nights of your life, this playlist was created specifically to capture that unique feeling of waving your bare hand out the window and feeling the air flying through your fingers and your hair in the midst of all the bright lights flashing in the dark. With some songs faster and some songs slower than others (and in no particular order) these songs capture this feeling of freedom so beautifully for me… I hope they can do the same for you!!

P.S. I've discovered music is such a personal thing, so by sharing my music I'm sharing a major part of myself. I truly hope you'll love these songs as much as I do - but no worries if you don't. We'd love to hear what you're listening to, so if you have any additions to this playlist, please add them in the comments below!!

CHANCE - a possibility of something happening...

Larger than life itself with a beauty that shines inside and out, the possibility of not being able to help yourself from having immense amounts of fun or laughter till your stomach hurts is guaranteed when you're with Chancely Nicole Courson. Whether we're fangirling over Theo James, belting out songs from "Les Mis", or having endless amounts of chips and queso from Lava Cantina, whenever I'm with Chancely, I can't help but have a great time or completely be myself. To sum it up, you can't help but love her.

Chancely has taught me many life lessons through late night conversations from countless car rides, but more than anything, she has shown me so much more through her actions and simply who she is. To striking up a conversation with our waiter or waitress to the person sitting next to us in the movie theater, the way she truly cares about people and what's going on in their lives is incredible. She never fails to amaze me with how she continuously puts others before herself no matter how challenging the circumstance she's facing. How one person can be so genuinely ecstatic for you when exciting things are happening in your life and how they feel even more grief than you may when life truly knocks you down is astonishing. To find someone who makes you feel like you're the only one in the room and will wholeheartedly invest in you without expecting anything in return is an incredibly rare and true gift. I could never thank her enough for the amount of encouragement and support I have and continue to receive from her.

Chancely, thank you for always being so genuine in all that you are and all that you do. The love of Jesus in you is so blatantly evident it's blinding and the amount of joy you bring to not only myself, but your family, friends, and strangers is such a beautiful thing to witness. I love you so much Chance. I can't imagine how much someone's gonna love you one day and I can't wait to see how others will get to know you and your beautiful self throughout this process. Keep being the Louisa Clark this world needs!!

XOXO,
Jess
